The First UCF Half night service for 2nd Semester 2011/2012, which also climaxed the week long All Christians’ Prayer and Fasting, hosted Prophet Atsu Manasseh as the speaker for the night.

Right after he was invited to the podium, Prophet Manasseh led the congregation to sing songs of worship and consecration including “You are alpha and omega”, “Touch your people once again” , “Let your living water flow” and “Create in me a clean heart”. At this stage, one could perceive that God’s direction for His Church that night was total consecration unto Him.

Prophet Manasseh’s spoke on the various types of cleansing or consecration revealed in God’s word. Relating on this subject, he was emphatic that believers need to be aware of these types of cleansing because consecration unto God makes the believer stronger inside out! Prophet Prince Manasseh, who is also the General Overseer of Watered Garden Ministries, explained the first type of cleansing as that which comes by Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. This cleansing is done by the Blood of Jesus Christ, and it happens when one receives the truth that Jesus did die to wash away the sins of men (Rev. 1:5), he further explained.

The second type of cleansing the Bible reveals is actually for believers; and it is the cleansing by the Word of God. Ephesians 5:26 talks about what Jesus does for the Church (His body) – “That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word”.  Prophet Manasseh expounded that believers should accept the word of God into their spirits, and allow it to cleanse their lives by being doers of the word and not just hearers.

Prophet Atsu Manasseh further explained “Sanctification unto prayer” and “purification by fire” as the third and fourth types of cleansing respectively. He noted that receiving Jesus which brings men into the Kingdom of God, was not all that God expects from men. Rather, believers should renew their minds with God’s word and cultivate a consistent prayer life which God can count on to accomplish on earth. 
The essence of prayer, he said is to beat the flush under, so that his spirit can rise up and take charge. This he said will not come by short prayers which are not heartfelt. “A Christian should develop the habit of praying beyond two hours as it takes two hours and more in prayer to get tangible anointing”. Concluding his fairly brief message, Prophet Atsu Manasseh touched on giving your all to God in worship, as a means of receiving divine revelation. He also admonished leaders to know that God has entrusted people’s destinies in their hands to lead them through, so they should not come behind in that assignment.

A prophetic healing session followed Prophet Manasseh’s preaching. They were healings of cancers, ulcers and various diseases which Satan sought to oppress God’s people with. In fact it was a very assuring night and the faith of many believers was revived for a miraculous demonstration.
This semester obviously has a lot of seasons of refreshing for us, and we must endeavor to tap into them through faith!
