The week-long “All Christians Prayer & Fasting” organized by the University Christian Fellowship of the University of Ghana ended on Friday 3rd February 2012 with a prophetic half-night service with Prophet Prince Atsu Mannaseh, the General Overseer of Watered Garden Ministries.
Throughout the week, Christians on Legon Campus actively participated in prayer sessions which were organized at dawn, in the afternoon (at the Miracle Centre) and in the evening on the Mensah Sarbah field. The half – night service also saw great numbers who came to pray various prayers concerning the semester and the New Year. The theme for the entire week’s programme was “The Flesh Profiteth Nothing” (Jn. 6:63).
The First UCF Half-night for this semester was a memorable night of awesome praise, worship, prayer and prophecies. The Chosen Vessels Choir (CVC) led the congregation through praises and worship. Afterwards was prayer galore led by the UCF Prayer Secretary, Mr. Raymond Enchill. It was very obvious that the present spiritual season on campus is that believers would walk in the power of the Holy Ghost and in signs and wonders. Mr. Enchill related from Ezra 3:8, Matt 10:1 ff. and 2 Cor. 4:4, and led the congregation to pray for a move of God on campus this season, for believers to walk in signs and wonders just as Jesus empowered His disciples to do same, and for the gospel to enter the hearts of men, removing every blindness Satan has given to people through unbelief.
Sequel to this prayer was another, led by the UCF Vice President Mr. John Winfred Nsiah. Making reference to Judges 5:7, Mr. Nsiah admonished believers to arise as soldiers of Christ to move the Kingdom of God, just as Deborah did in her days.
It was now time to receive the man of God for the night – Prophet Atsu Manasseh. He was an exceptional blessing to all that turned up the meeting. Prophet Manasseh spoke concerning “Various types of cleansing” which believers must experience in their walk with God (read full message in the story “Total Consecration – Atsu Manasseh speaks at UCF Half-night Service”).
As one who stands in the sacred office of the Prophet, you would definitely expect a mighty prophetic ministration after the message; and indeed there was! Most of the prophecies were to the entire congregation for their edification, exhortation and comfort. Others also received personal prophecies and anointing to strengthen them to live for God.
In all, it was a glorious night in the presence of the Lord which would have lasting impact on the lives of student believers. Many hearts were turned unto the Lord. Song ministrations were by Bro. Emmanuel.
