The entire Christian community of the University of Ghana has set this whole week aside to be with the Lord in intimate fellowship. In this edition of the “All Christians Prayer and Fasting Week” held every semester, the divine direction is that believers would be strengthened with the might of the Holy Spirit in their spirits, souls and bodies! The theme for the whole week celebration is “THE FLESH PROFITETH NOTHING (JOHN 6:63)”.
Speaking in an exclusive interview last night, the UCF President Mr. Emmanuel Amankwaa related that believers are actually spiritual beings who live in physical bodies, and not the other way round. To that effect, believers should be more concerned with their spiritual lives and seek to control the natural from the spiritual standpoint – the reason for the theme for the spiritual week.
Mr. Emmanuel further said that they’ve received numerous testimonies about how lives are been changed during the week-long programme, which is in its fourth day. “We believe God that by the end of the programme, the [entire] campus is going to explode [with the power of God]”.The All Christians Prayer and Fasting week continues with an afternoon session today at the Miracle Centre at noon, and Evening Session at the Sarbah field, dawn sessions tomorrow at the Sarbah Field, Pentagon and the field between Alex Kwapong and Elizabeth for the respective campus regions.
The program will be climaxed with a half-night service with Prophet Atsu Manasseh [Watered Garden Ministries] on Friday 3rd February, at the Central Cafeteria.
