RECREATED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS
"Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God" (Phil. 1:11 KJV).
Indeed the new creation is so special; one of a kind which never existed before, carefully designed and patterned after God Himself. If the Old Creation who lived in the Old Testament times, could be the apple of God's eye, you can imagine who the new creation, which have in them the life giving spirit, are in the sight of God! God has furnished the new creation with every needed element so he would reveal God's righteousness to the world. This means that believers must not doubt at all they are already righteous, worthy and meet to have fellowship with God. If God cannot fellowship with sin, and we have our fellowship with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, we should simply know that we are already righteous in God's sight, and that gives us the privilege of fellowship. And so we must receive this righteousness (and grow in our knowledge of it) so we can continue in our fellowship with God. Amen! The foundation of righteousness is simply indispensable if believers would accomplish anything worthwhile in the Kingdom. From the overview of the New Creation in Jeremiah 31:31 - 33, God's word has been formed with the spirit of the new creation. Now if God's word which is righteous and holy, is in the inward parts of the new creation, then the new creation is already righteous; if he were not, God wouldn't have placed His holy and righteous words in his spirit. Glory to God! You have been recreated with a new heart, and the Holy Spirit also dwells in you, making you a home of righteousness. And as righteousness and holiness constitute the firm foundations of God's throne, God has made us unshakeable in our world by making us righteous fundamentally. Halleluiah! He also said "I'll dwell in them and walk in them" (2 Cor. 6:16b). You must not continue to walk in dead works after knowing that God is domiciled in you. As the law of spirit of life has made us free from the law of sin and death, we must live as the righteousness of God on earth. Amen! So what is Righteousness? It is that divine nature of God in your spirit which gives you rightness in your spirit, and a divine ability to stand in the presence of God (or Satan) without any sense of guilt or condemnation. And this is the grace we have received freely and must reveal in our daily Christian walk. God has already justified you. He has declared you righteous by the court of heaven, the supreme court of heaven presided over by the Father Himself, and He has declared you not guilty, as if sin never existed in your life. Through your faith in Christ Jesus, you have received the acquittal of heaven, and God has given you right standing with Him. Oh Halleluiah! Now what does this mean to us? It means that now you can boldly go to the heavenly Father and address Him in familiar and simple terms just like Jesus did on earth. You should no longer be afraid to approach the Father, because He has made you worthy enough to have fellowship with Him! And you can always exercise your authourity over Satan, because it is God who has made you righteous and not any righteousness of your own works. Satan must not be able to deceive you into thinking that you are not meet enough to approach God. Beloved, God has already made you righteous by all standards. You must settle this in your heart right now so you can live your life as one revealing the righteousness of God, for you have been recreated for righteousness! CONFESSION A brand new creation - that's who I am - Recreated for righteousness. I have the righteousness of God. I am the righteousness of God. And my life reveals God's righteousness. Nothing condemns me in the sight of God, for He himself has made me meet enough to fellowship with Him. I am righteous, and I reveal God's righteousness. Halleluiah!
