One of the captivating and spiritual side attractions of the 2010 Glory Conference was the conference anthem “Manifest His Glory”.  Although not taught from the first day of the conference, the anthem easily caught up with participants when it was taught on Friday afternoon, due to its simple lyrics, short content, nice rhythm and above all, the fact that the chorus of the song was the main text of the conference, 2 Cor. 3:18.

In an interview with the music committee, we learnt that the song was not only carefully programmed (engineered) but also prayerfully received. One of the committee members, Kojo Agyei, said that while they waited on God in prayer, they also had in mind to produce an anthem simpler than the ones produced in previous conferences. He also said that the main text for the conference (2 Cor. 3:18) was full of revelation and so if participants could sing it always, they would indeed get transformed more and more into the glorious image of Christ. Therefore, they were glad to have the main text forming the chorus of the song.

The song was engineered by Bennie and recorded at Bernard Blessing’s HisSong Studios in Accra. Enoch Abasey was on keyboard, Gabriel Atter on the Bass, Samuel Boachie - Ennin on the Drum and Lead vocalist, Freda Essel (all of PENSA LEGON).
